MY FAVORITE VOLLEYBALL TEAM The Ateneo Volleyball Lady Blue Eagles is the collegiate women's varsity volleyball team of the Ateneo de Manila University. They play in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. Head Coach:  Oliver Almadro Captain:  Pauline Marie Gaston League: UAAP, PVL Ateneo Volleyball lady blue eagles team is my favorite because the have great defense and offense when they play.They are my motivation whenever i play volleyball. They also have a really great teamwork, that is their key of winning, their games is not just volleyball games you can also get motivated,values and realization.They also won last season ( UAAP Season 81 ).  

VOLLEYBALL History of volleyball The game of volleyball, originally called “mintonette,” was invented in 1895 by William G. Morgan after the invention of  basketball  only four years before. Morgan, a graduate of the Springfield College of the YMCA, designed the game to be a combination of  basketball , baseball, tennis, and handball.  Inventor of volleyball: William G. Morgan    In the winter of 1895, in Holyoke, Massachusetts (United States), William G. Morgan, a YMCA physical education director, created a new game called Mintonette, a name derived from the game of badminton, as a pastime to be  played  (preferably) indoors and by any number of  players .
